Reiki Evolving ~ Holy Fire
Reiki, the energy of life, has unlimited potential, and as we awake, so does our awareness and abilities to reach deeper levels of wisdom and healing.
Over the past few decades, many new systems of Reiki have emerged. This diversity simply reflects the diversity of the world with the many ways we perceive and experience life and its mysteriesBelow are some of the forms of Reiki I have explored over the past 10 years. Many more exist varying across the world according to cultures and traditions. More often than not, tradition is seen as something that cannot be altered, like letters engraved in stone. But tradition should not hold us back from being open to innovation. The latest of such innovations is Holy Fire Reiki.
Regardless the form one chooses, the key is to practice, as practice is what brings those deeper levels of awareness, healing and life transformation.

Holy Fire Reiki is a new Western form of Reiki that evolved from the Usui/Tibetan Reiki system. Holy Fire Reiki is a type of Reiki energy and a healing system based on Holy Fire energy. This awareness came to William Rand, President of ICRT, in January 2014. Holy Fire is an ancient energy that has been around on Earth for a long time. It is re-emerging at this time through the system of Reiki to reawaken humanity to the mystical dimension of healing and life. This new system takes the practice of Reiki back to its original form as a spiritual healing practice and path to wholeness. Holy Fire Reiki brings spiritual healing while strengthening our spiritual connections. It creates wholeness through purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. The energy of Holy Fire is a key component of this system which is in constant evolution. Its latest upgrade to Holy Fire III came in October 2018. This new Western form of Reiki is a gift that is offered to those who choose to embrace it.

Karuna Reiki® is a powerful healing system for our planet. It was first developed in the West by William Rand in 1995. Karuna is a Sanskrit word also used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." As we grow and heal with Reiki, our vibration changes, we become more infused with light. In this lighter state of being, we benefit from higher vibrational energies and deeper levels of purification, healing, guidance and empowerment that will help us fulfill our life purpose on earth with greater clarity and compassion.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Karuna Reiki® opens us to work more closely with all enlightened beings.
Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® is an expression of the evolving nature of Reiki. When ignited with Holy Fire, Karuna Reiki® transcends its previous form. The powerful spiritual healing energy that surrounds us, fills us with divine love, bringing deep healing and purification experiences as well as great levels of awareness and spiritual guidance. Karuna Reiki® Questions and Answers by William Rand

Usui/Tibetan Reiki is one of the most common forms of Reiki used in the US and the Western world. It was originally developed by Arthur Robertson, then further modified by William Rand in 1989. Robertson was a student of Iris Ishiruko, who was a student of Mrs Takata who introduced Reiki in the US and the Western world. Robertson also taught Tibetan shamanism, a system called Raku-Kei, and as something common among many energy practitioners, he combined the two healing systems creating a modified Usui system he called the Usui/Tibetan Reiki, with several distinct advanced techniques and two additional symbols. Information about the Usui/Tibetan Reiki click HERE

Walter Lübeck developed Rainbow Reiki in the 1980's. His center Reiki-Do Institute is based in Germany. Rainbow Reiki combines the traditional Usui Reiki System with additional symbols, mantras, knowledge, and methods. It is based on in-depth research on the roots of Reiki, shamanism, feng-shui, meditation, sacred geometry, multidimensional communication methods, psychology and psychotherapy. The three principles of Rainbow Reiki are based upon the
integration and practice of love, consciousness and responsibility in our lives. About Rainbow Reiki
Jikiden Reiki is a method of Reki that was taught by the late Chiyoko Yamaguchi as a "home remedy". She had received her first attunement from Hayashi Sensei in 1938 and passed away in 2003. Her son Tadao Yamaguchi carried-on the family legacy and founded the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto in 2005. This form of Reiki is also taught by Frank Arjava Petter, Reiki Teacher and Vice President of the Jikiden Reiki Institute. Jikiden Reiki is presented as comprising the exact system that Chiyoko Yamaguchi was taught by Hayashi-Sensei, along with some additional information. About Jikiden Reiki.

Usui Reiki Ryoho is the name of the original system of Reiki that was developed by its founder Usui Mikao in Japan in the early 1920's. The traditional system has been revived by Frans and Bronwen Siene, Reiki Teachers and founders of the International House of Reiki through years of research, studies and practice in Japan, with the intention to recreate what was traditionally understood and practiced during the lifetime of the founder, when Reiki was approached as a spiritual practice and path to wholeness. This system provides a solid foundation to all practitioners coming from any lieange and Reiki school. About the Usui Reiki Ryoho and the International House of Reiki click HERE.
