Reiki Classes

Reiki comes from a place of oneness and can be taught in different ways depending on students' life journey, needs and interests, and the setting. I teach two approaches to the practice of Reiki: a traditional Japanese approach and a Western contemporary one. I also teach a program specifically designed for the mainstream medical setting. This page will give you information about the classes.

Classes can be taken as a group or individually. Reiki classes create great opportunities to heal, grow and transform our lives; as such they are not just about learning but also about empowering ourselves to bring change.

My intention is to meet and support students wherever they are in their life. Choose your class ...

Which system to choose?

Usui Reiki Ryoho (traditional Japanese) is the program developed by Frans and Bronwen Stiene, Reiki Teachers and founders of the International House of Reiki. It is a thorough program based on years of research, studies and practice in Japan. This program gives students a solid foundation of the way the Usui system of Reiki was traditionally understood and practiced in Japan, as a path to wholeness. This approach focuses on self-healing, inner-work and personal development.

Usui/Holy Fire Reiki (contemporary Western) is a new form of Reiki developed in the West by William Rand Reiki Master Teacher and President of ICRT in 2014. It is a unique system that carries a specific spiritual energy. This system evolved from the Usui/Tibetan system of Reiki, also created by William Rand, to adapt to our Western mind as we enter a new phase of global transformation. It is offered to those who are called to receive it. For more information about Holy Fire Reiki please visit my page "Reiki Evolving" and/or feel free to contact me.

Reiki Healthcare : is a mainstream program developed by The Reiki Share Project to meet the needs of groups or individuals dealing with any serious illnesses or disability; family caregivers; parents of children with special needs; veterans and their families; those dealing with personal trauma; hospice volunteers; and healthcare professionals.

Please note that regardless the system one chooses, Reiki comes from a place of oneness so any of these classes will offer students great opportunities to heal, grow and transform their life. Practice is what creates the "magic" so the key is to choose the program that best resonates with you in your life. I am happy to guide you in your decision and answer any questions you might have.

Which level is right for you?

Reiki 1 is the beginning of your journey. It allows students to become aware of the universal life force energy that flows within and around us. They learn how to sense it, strengthen it, increase it, ground it and to consciously use it to heal themselves and others through the practice of meditation and hands-on healing. No prerequisite.

Reiki 2 leads students to strengthen their connection with the universal life force energy, solidify foundational concepts as well as learn and internalize additional tools and techniques to go deeper and be able to practice from distant, beyond time and space. Reiki level 1 is required for this class.

Reiki 3 provides students with advanced techniques for healing and personal development. It also allows students to learn how to perform initiations and to teach if they choose to do so. The aim of the mastership is to go deeper into our personal experience and practice of Reiki. Reiki 3 is a powerful class that heals deeply. It empowers and guides us to connect and embody our inner-light to "be Reiki" in the world. A minimum of 6 months period after Reiki 2 is recommended to take the mastership level.

Karuna Reiki® leads Reiki Masters to learn additional tools to move further into their life. Karuna means "compassion in action", toward ourselves and others. The additional symbols and experiences offered in this class aim at bringing deeper levels of healing and empowerment to increase our light and expand it further within ourselves and into the world. A minimum of 6 months period to a year is recommended after Reiiki 3 to take the Karuna level.

Reiki Lineage

My lineage includes both the Japanese (Usui Reiki Ryoho) and Western (Usui/Tibetan and Usui/Holy Fire Reiki) lineages, and so it will be for my students.

All my levels of training in the Usui/Tibetan system of Reiki and Usui/Holy Fire Reiki were completed wth William Rand, Reiki Master and President of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). I took my first Karuna Reiki® Master training and Reiki Crystal Healing certification with Laurelle Shanti Gaia and Michael Baird, ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teachers. I also studied with Colleen Benelli, another ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher during the Holy Fire II Reiki retreat in Hawaii in 2016.

I was fortunate to receive the initiation to Usui Teate in 2014 (Chris Marsh lineage) from Pascal Wallyn, Reiki Master Teacher and Usui/Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® Representative in France. This led me to discover the Kototama principle and use of sacred sounds that are now part of my personal study and practice.

I am currently training in the practice of the traditional Japanese system of Reiki, called "Usui Reiki Ryoho" with Frans Stiene, Reiki Teacher and founder of the International House of Reiki, to deepen my experience and understanding of Reiki from a more traditional perspective.

Finally, I wish to express my deep gratitude to all my Reiki teachers which includes Ramaa Krishnan, founder of Full Bloomed Lotus Center for Self-Awareness, with whom I studied for many years and who was my first Reiki Teacher.
